John Cady, who lives in the first home entering Mandarin Drive, was out shopping on January 1 and came home to find a broken window on the west side of his house behind his wood fence. A large chunk of concrete laid on the floor inside the family room amongst broken glass. His first thought was that someone had attempted a break-in and the dogs scared them off. A further analysis by the PBPD officers who responded believe that it was an act of vandalism. Their theory is that kids might have been on foot through the woods and decided to hurl the chunk of concrete through the window.
